This leads you to the eastern end of the Great Lakes. Manitoulin Island, Parry Sound and the island paradise at Georgian Bay will fascinate you. Manitoulin Island is the world’s largest island in a lake and Lake Manitou is the world’s largest lake on an island. From Tobermory to Manitoulin Island a 2 hour ferry passage is required. Please check the departure times.
You should definitely allow three weeks for this modified tour of Québec and Ontario. Due to the numerous interesting destinations, a four week trip is a much more suitable alternative. You will have enough opportunities to spend an extra day or two to enjoy the impressive landscapes.
